Captured Vehicles
“All’s fair in love and war,” or so the saying goes. Resources are scarce on the battlefield, so captured equipment that is intact or requires only minor repair is sometimes pressed into service.
With supply lines stretched thin, this opportunism offers a way to replace badly damaged or destroyed equipment, such as AFVs. The down side to this equipment is that it can be difficult to maintain. Your Platoon’s mechanic is likely unfamiliar with the design, any captured manuals are in a foreign language, and replacement parts are only available through salvaging other wrecks, capturing a supply depot, or fabricating them in the field.

Since the Vrill containment field under the old monastery failed in June, the skies over Zverograd has been swarming with terrifying flying creatures named Mi-Gos. While they have abated and seem to operate mostly by night now, the various blocs are unwilling to risk their valuable air resources to re-take the skies. Getting supplies into Zverograd is now purely by land or sea, even those aren’t safe. The Battle for Zverograd, Part Three
Read Part 2 of the Battle for Zverograd.
Late Spring 1947 The success of Operation Icarus for the Allies, and arguably at this point the most successful of the three blocs in Zverograd lead to the decision to withdraw most of the 4th Marines Division from Zverograd. They were responsible for some of the most dangerous missions against some of the best troops of the enemy. Some claim this decision was driven by rivalry within Allies command structure, others claim the opposite and 9th army HQ were adamant they remained.

Winter Child For years, Earth’s major powers have been working on different ways to create superhuman soldiers. Many of these research programs began long before the war, but they received considerably more funding when it began. The SSU were years late in the discovery and practical applications of VK, but while the Axis were creating the first combat walkers, the SSU spent their time working on ways to create superhumans by enhancing the powers of the mind.

Though smaller in size, it would compete with the most advanced great capitals of the world. This city would prove to the world that the Soviet Union could accomplish anything. Months were spent selecting the perfect location for this new city, as well as developing its name.

Dust Unified Saves Table
Saves in Dust 1947 A Save is a target unit’s reaction to Hits. Unless otherwise noted, Saves of the same type do not stack; example, you cannot get Evade and Improved Evade Save.
If a unit gets Cover Save, you do not get Evade or Infantry Save. Cover and Evade/Infantry Saves are mutually exclusive (you can get both Evade and infantry Save at the same time).
E.g. A Sturmgrenadier squad is currently behind Cover and is within a smoke screen.

Mythos cultists have been streaming into the city by the hundreds, some say thousands, most carrying weapons outdated even before the war started.

The Axis laser weapons are some of the most powerful weapons on the planet, hampered only by their power and engineering requirements. Lasers need to be focused on a point long enough for the laser to burn through, and attenuation limits the effective range.

Secondary Objectives
Secondary Objectives can be a lot fun especially for experienced players. They can spruce up an existing mission/scenario and introduce a layer of strategy that might be the difference between victory and defeat!
Secondary Objectives can fit into any Mission where you are scoring VPs over X number of Game Turns. Most VPs are scored immediately when you satisfy the objective requirements stated on the card.
Each Secondary Objective will score you 1 VP.

RTZ: Building a Force for the Campaign
In order to go on missions for the Return to Zverograd (RTZ) narrative campaign, construct a battle force according to Dust 1947 rules and rules specific to the campaign.
First, you will need to create a commander for your force. Your commander will be the leader of your force and a required unit in your Core Platoon. Usually this will be your Command Unit.
Every force needs a Core Platoon which are drawn from the list of platoons from the Dust 1947 as well as platoons created for the RTZ campaign.

Zverograd - Mercenary Forces
Currently there are no mercenary companies operating in Zverograd that is not aligned with one of the major blocs. Any player who chooses to deploy a pure mercenary force must fight under one of the existing bloc for the duration of the campaign.
A mercenary force (100%) operating in Zverograd gets a 15% faction bonus, instead of 10%, rounding up any fraction.
KV-47 Walkers (all variants) Due to standardisation, all Mercs KV-47 (including tropical versions) have 5 Health.

Zverograd - IJN Forces
Known IJN Forces present at Zverograd at the end of August, 1947 The IJN has somehow managed to infiltrate the 42nd SNLF into Zverograd. While much smaller compared to the other blocs, they are fresh troops and seemingly invincible warriors. Rumours abound of sentries found the next day with their throats cut by a bladed weapon, or patrols ambushed by ghosts, only to disappear shortly after. Their intentions are currently unknown but speculation among the various HQs are rife.

The Battle for Zverograd, Part Two
Read Part 1 of the Battle for Zverograd.
